Privacy & Compliance

Nxio is built around data minimization: we focus on exporting your content, not collecting it.

What we do not store

  • • Your exported PDF files are not kept as downloads on the server after upload.
  • • We do not store your Notion page content as a readable document database.
  • • We do not run ads or sell personal data.

What we store (minimal)

Account & authentication
Your email address and a salted + hashed password (so we can authenticate you). We never store your password in plain text.
Connection tokens (optional)
If you add Notion and reMarkable tokens in Settings, Nxio stores them encrypted at rest to run exports and uploads.
Export job metadata
To show you a queue and status history, Nxio stores lightweight metadata (e.g., page id/title, progress, error messages, and an upload reference).

Security practices

  • • TLS/HTTPS in transit for the website and API.
  • • Encrypted storage for sensitive tokens.
  • • Least-privilege approach: store only what the app needs to function.
  • • Operational hygiene: regular dependency updates and server hardening as needed.

Retention & control

You can clear your export job history from the dashboard. If you want your account removed, contact support and we’ll delete it.
